This workshop will focus on specific criteria and eligibility for most micro-funding institutions in the bay area lending

$5,000-$50,000

Do these questions cross your mind:

What do I need in order to apply for a business loan?

What interest rates am I looking at on average?

Who will lend to me if I just started, and haven't generated revenue from my business concept yet?

On Thursday, January 19, at Hub Berkeley, find out where your business concept needs to be, and what you need to have when approaching lenders.  The average processing period, from the time you submit a completed application, to the time you hear a "yay" or "nay" is 3 weeks.  Keep that turnaround low by ensuring you have a solid and communicable concept so that you can secure the funds you need when your business needs them.

Youth Business America will be hosting the event and will also be providing information specific to their lending and mentorship program.  INNA Jam's founder, Dafna Kory, who has recently received funding from YBA, will also be available for insider insight into the process.

Intersection for the Arts

http://theintersection.org/

Founded in the early 1960’s and incorporated in 1965, Intersection for the Arts cultivates inclusivity, builds community, and inspires social change through art. We develop, produce, and present new work in the performing, literary, visual and interdisciplinary arts and we serve Bay Area communities through artist residencies, public art, education and incubation, and direct community engagement programs. For the past five decades, Intersection has initiated ground-breaking programming and broad-based collaboration that actively demonstrates that art and creativity realized through meaningful, inclusive, and collaborative places fuels vibrancy and facilitates positive

change.
